Honda February Sales See Increases Across Lineup

The 2020 sales year is continuing on solid footing for Honda. The carmaker recently published the Honda February sales, and it saw year-over-year increases all around. Its truck lineup, in particular, had its best February sales yet – and it’s likely only going to improve with the release of the first-ever 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, which arrived in dealerships on March 1st.

“These are challenging times for our industry and the world, so it’s gratifying to see our sales grow in February, led by strong demand for Honda light trucks, and Civic sales gains demonstrating once again that cars still matter,” said Steven Center, Vice President of the Auto Sales Division, American Honda Motor Co., Inc.

The Honda truck lineup saw an increase of 6.6 percent in its February year-over-year sales numbers. This was aided by the HR-V posting a new record with a 14.4 percent increase. The Ridgeline also saw a solid sales rise after going up 46.8 percent compared to last year’s sales, while the Odyssey led the minivan segment.

Other Honda models saw gains, too. This includes the Honda Civic, which saw a year-over-year February sales increase of 11.5 percent. The Accord Hybrid and Insight also posted sales bumps of 10.7 percent and 1.6 percent, respectively.

There was a total sales increase for American Honda of 4.2 percent in February, with a total of 120,006 vehicles with happy new drivers.
