Fun Ways to Celebrate Halloween at Home

Jack-o-Lantern & Candy | Fayetteville, NC

Trick-or-treating seems to be out of the cards this year, which means that Halloween will certainly look a bit different. If you’re searching for a way to celebrate Halloween at home this year, don’t worry — we have some family-friendly ideas so you can join the spooky festivities while still staying socially distanced.

Get crafty

Halloween is a prime time to get your crafting on. There are a number of fun ideas that you could complete as a family, regardless of your kids’ ages. From creating monster puppets to making paper pumpkins — or even just carving them — t the options are endless. Just check out Pinterest for some of the best ideas out there.

Think up a scavenger hunt

Scavenger hunts can easily be done at home or out and about, making it an easy idea for socially distanced fun. Have the kids dress up in their costumes and give them a list of Halloween-themed items to look for, including pumpkins, black cats, ghosts, and witches.

Build a haunted blanket fort and watch movies

Stay out of the cold and cuddle up under a blanket fort this year, rather than heading out trick-or-treating. A blanket fort can easily be decorated with spooky items like cobwebs and plastic spiders. Build one as a family, fill it to the brim with pillows, and spend the night munching on candy while watching family-friendly Halloween movies. You can even sit around and tell spooky stories to really get into the mood.

From all of us at Bryan Honda, we want to wish you a safe, fun, and spooky Halloween! If you’re looking for a vehicle at a price that’s anything but scary, check out our extensive online inventory.
