America’s favorite holiday is almost here, so it’s time to decide how you plan on spending it. There’s no better way to celebrate our independence than alongside fellow Americans and community members, so throw on your red, white, and blue and celebrate July 4th around Fayetteville this year. Here are two local events we strongly recommend.
- Fort Bragg Fourth of July Celebration: On the day that America celebrates its birthday and independence, there’s no better place to celebrate than at the nation’s largest military installation. The Fort Bragg Fourth of July Celebration includes live musical performances, including performances by the 82nd Airborne Division All American Rock Band, parachute demonstrations, a patriotic flag ceremony and playing of the national anthem, and a spectacular fireworks show. The event is free and takes place at the Main Post Parade Field, which is located in Fort Bragg’s historic district.
- Hope Mills’ July 4th Celebration: Head to Hope Mills this July 4th to celebrate the holiday. The celebration begins with a patriotic parade in the morning, continues in the afternoon with the annual Party in the Park with live music, food, and games for the whole family, and ends with a breathtaking fireworks show that beings at 9:15pm.
