Spring is just on the horizon, which means it’s time to start thinking about America’s favorite pastime: baseball. Luckily for us here in Fayetteville, we have our own local minor league team to root for. The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are back in town after a 17-year absence, and they have a brand-new stadium, which will be called the SEGRA stadium.
Named after one of the largest independent bandwidth
companies in the United States, the $40 million ballpark will act as a premium
sports venue for the area. It will be outfitted with Wi-Fi and will have a bar
in the outfield that will offer live music, lounge seating, corn hole, and
more. You can even attend a game in one of the six luxury suites or four field
boxes to give you a premium baseball experience.
Those with little ones will be happy to know that there will
also be multiple kids’ zones to keep little ones entertained, and foodies will
rejoice in knowing that all concession stands will have unique, original food
options with branding that takes influence from Fayetteville and nearby Fort
The stadium is set to open up in April, so make sure your Honda is ready to be packed up so you can haul whatever you need to the next ball game. And if you don’t have one, we’ll get you sorted at Bryan Honda!

Buoyed by the success of larger vehicle offerings such as the Odyssey minivan, Ridgeline pickup, and Pilot SUV, Honda reports that truck, SUV, and minivan sales saw the greatest increase in April. Perhaps the spike in sales has something to do with the prospect of road trips with the whole family, but we venture to guess it has a lot to do with the strength of Honda’s current lineup of trucks, SUVs, and minivans.
April’s heaviest hitters were the Honda Odyssey and the Honda Pilot, which were up 31.3% and 32.2% respectively on a daily selling rate basis. This means the Odyssey saw 8,464 daily sales for April while the Pilot moved 11.891 daily units. That’s a lot of SUVs and minivans!
These numbers hardly surprise us, though. The Honda Odyssey is the top retail-selling minivan in American, after all, while the Honda Pilot offers an impressive combination of full-size SUV convenience and flexibility and economical fuel efficiency.
While models such as the Civic, CR-V, and Accord continue to see some of Honda’s strongest sales numbers, the trend toward larger Honda vehicles is indicative of America’s growing preference for trucks and full-size SUVs such as the Odyssey and Pilot that offer a lot of flexibility, and a lot of fun.
See for yourself why Honda truck and SUV sales have done so well by checking out the full lineup at Bryan Honda!

A new homeless shelter opened in Fayetteville, North Carolina, earlier this month on March 14 and has proven especially helpful to local homeless men on cold nights. The shelter is made possible by Operation Inasmuch, an active non-profit in the community.
The 6500-square-foot facility has been in the works for three years, according to CBS North Carolina news, and its impressive quality shows that. The Inashmuch shelter was funded by the local community and has 40 beds, six bathrooms with hot showers, a kitchen, and a laundry room.
The homeless staying in the shelter are impressed with its quality and the opportunities it provides, letting them know about job opportunities like cashiering and truck driving as well as letting them wash their clothes and shower so they’re presentable for job interviews.
Stacy Sanders, who works with the county sheriff and has an office right in the homeless facility, is the go-to Fayetteville resident when it comes to the homeless population and has worked with the homeless for 13 years.
The shelter is open seven days a week, and they’re looking for volunteers, so if you’d like to help out, let them know. The staff of Bryan Honda are proud to be part of a community that supports people down on their luck with facilities and projects like Inasmuch.
Using its versatile Ridgeline pickup truck, Honda has restored an OFA Little League Field in Houston that was damaged throughout 2016 by flooding. Honda donated $55,000 to the Honda Ridgeline Little League Community Project to get these facilities back up and running.
Honda performed a huge range of renovations and upgrades including regrading their fields, restoring their dugouts, replacing the protective netting, and installing new equipment for the concession stands. Local Honda dealers participated to make the renovations a reality as well as volunteers and the Honda Ridgeline truck.
The Honda Little League project is a reflection of the long-standing relationship between Honda and Little League Baseball and Softball. Honda has been a Little League sponsor since 1996 and has donated more than $1.2 million to underfunded teams in the last 21 years. Susie Rossick, the Assistant Vice President of Honda Automobile Marketing, said that “Honda is dedicated to helping young people strive to pursue their dreams” through the Honda Ridgeline Little League Community Project.
The Ridgeline, which was named the 2017 North American Truck of the Year, is packed with design innovations like an in-bed trunk that makes it the perfect truck for projects like this one.
