While Honda didn’t offer an Accord Hybrid for the 2016 model year, the fuel efficient model is back. Having undergone a refresh, the 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid offers improved performance and efficiency for a relatively miniscule price increase. All in all, the new Accord Hybrid promises to be one of the most efficient family sedans on the market.
Compared to the 2015 Accord Hybrid, the latest model sees a price increase of just $300 to a total of $30,440. That’s just $2,225 more than the conventionally-powered Honda Accord EX with Honda Sensing.
The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid comes with an updated gas-electric drivetrain that produces an extra 16 hp for a total of 212 hp. The latest ratings show the new system earning an EPA-estimated 49 city/47 hwy mpg. In addition to an upgraded drivetrain, the Accord Hybrid also gets new active safety features and remote start.
While you’ll have to get behind the wheel of the EX-L, $33,740, or the Touring, $36,790, they’re well worth the extra money. Both models come with leather and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Touring also includes heated rear seats, navigation, and rain-sensing wipers, as well as a few other goodies.
Here at Bryan Honda, we can’t wait to show you what the new Accord Hybrid can do!
