From 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on November 29th, you can catch a horse-drawn carriage past merchant windows adorned with Victorian decorations, enjoy holiday delicacies like gingerbread and cider, and even take photos with Father Christmas. It’s a lovely family-friendly event that will give you a chance to get ahead of your holiday shopping while discovering more about Christmas Past.  

Fayetteville Turkey Trot

Before you dig into your delicious Thanksgiving feast, why not take a run? Take part in the Fayetteville Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 28th, at Segra Stadium. This event gives you the chance to run either a 5K or an untimed mile run, working off the calories you’re going to consume later in the day for a guilt-free celebration. There will be Overall and Age Group Awards, along with a Team and Individual Costume Contest.

This attraction has four large indoor haunted houses, all in one location, giving you plenty of opportunities to get your heart pumping. Located in Laurinburg, which is an hour from Fayetteville, is Insanitarium. This 14,000-square-foot haunted house will haunt your nightmares, giving you the scare you crave during the Halloween season. You can attend a free block party, catch live music, and eat delicious food before you head in for the fright of your life. Admission is $10 per person and is only open to children 12 and over.
