2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Goes on Sale

2017 Honda Accord Hybrid - Bryan HondaWhile Honda didn’t offer an Accord Hybrid for the 2016 model year, the fuel efficient model is back. Having undergone a refresh, the 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid offers improved performance and efficiency for a relatively miniscule price increase. All in all, the new Accord Hybrid promises to be one of the most efficient family sedans on the market.

Compared to the 2015 Accord Hybrid, the latest model sees a price increase of just $300 to a total of $30,440. That’s just $2,225 more than the conventionally-powered Honda Accord EX with Honda Sensing.

The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid comes with an updated gas-electric drivetrain that produces an extra 16 hp for a total of 212 hp. The latest ratings show the new system earning an EPA-estimated 49 city/47 hwy mpg. In addition to an upgraded drivetrain, the Accord Hybrid also gets new active safety features and remote start.

While you’ll have to get behind the wheel of the EX-L, $33,740, or the Touring, $36,790, they’re well worth the extra money. Both models come with leather and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Touring also includes heated rear seats, navigation, and rain-sensing wipers, as well as a few other goodies.

Here at Bryan Honda, we can’t wait to show you what the new Accord Hybrid can do!

Fort Bragg Celebrates National Trails Day

National Trails Day - Bryan Honda Fayetteville

Fort Bragg undoubtedly has some of the most beautiful trails in the United States and the city was looking to celebrate. National Trails Day took place on June 4th and there was plenty to do. In the spirit of celebration, Fort Bragg also opened new coastal trails that have been a long time in the making.

The main celebration was held on the Southern Coastal Trail and brought together much of Fort Bragg’s community. Entertainment including performances by Circus Mecca and live music from various bands. The United States Coast Guard put on an ocean rescue demonstration and a Paul Bunyan logging demonstration was open to the public.

Attendees also celebrated the opening of the Noyo Center for Marine Science’s “Crow’s Nest.” The North Coast Brewing Company hosted a beer garden and all proceeds went towards the Noyo Center.

To top it all off, a Blue Whale skeleton was put on display.

The new coastal trails stretch five miles and offer ocean views, benches made by local artists, and more. Complete with habitat restoration, the entirety of the park is now open to all public visitors.

Although the event lasted just four hours, it was one to remember!

We here at Bryan Honda can’t wait to hit the new trail!
